Governor Andy Beshear has taken effective & extreme measures to assist & protect the citizens of Kentucky during this unimaginable time. In light of the COVID-19 outbreak he is aware of the financial burdens placed on MANY Kentucky residents. Therefore, effective March 25th, 2020, Governor Beshear has expanded the Unemployment Insurance Benefits to Self-Employed Individuals. Please see the chart below released by the KY Career Center. For more information regarding your specific eligibility for Unemployment Insurance Benefits please call the Unemployment Office directly at 502-544-2900. To file a claim for Unemployment Insurance please visit kcc.ky.gov or call 502-875-0442.
